Ciao Amici!

First restaurant tasting in the books!

I had my first restaurant tasting this morning. It was a great tasting with Tuscany's own Paolo Calami of Burrasca. It was a sweet christening of the ship tasting the 2016 Buona Notte Sangiovese with a real life Italian. He said it taste like the Sangiovese his father used to make. That was all I needed to hear.
The dude is a master of "Tuscan Soul Food," and Portland is so lucky to have Paolo. He has some roots in my favorite restaurant in the world, Cibreo. The food is super authentic and delicious.

Tip:

Eat like a Tuscan and get the Crostini di fegatini, Gnudi al sugo and Coniglio.
